What is Google My Business?
A free tool for organisations and businesses to manage their online presence. This includes Search and Maps.
Just like in real life, you need to direct potential customers to your business. However, instead of your premises, you’re directing them to your website. Information therefore needs to be accurate and by verifying it with Google, you’ll be considered more reputable by consumers.*
Using this tool also allows you to interact with customers. Reading and responding to reviews and posting photo’s of your business.
How to Get Started
This is a business profile, and a profile is not complete without information! In a few clicks you can be up and running. Once this is done, you can start using the Insights option. This gives details such as how many customers found you direct or via a product or service. Information such as this can then be used to aid an online marketing campaign.
